All our American hardwoods are kiln dried and sold on a green measure basis i.e. after kiln drying timber is of the Green Diamond brand which has become well known as the best in the world. It is procurred from the American Lumber Company and is grown in the northern appalachian region, Pennsylvania.

It is sold in various sizes, the most popular being 4/4 (25 mm) 5/4 (32 mm) 6/4 (38 mm) and 8/4 50 mm. Grading of all our hardwoods is according to the NHLA grading rules and American Lumber guarantees that all their timber far exceeds these grading standards. Grades of timber imported from American Lumber are 2 Commons, Comsels and Prime, however we also hold stocks of selects, narrows and shorts in specific species.
